The Academy of Country Music announced the full list of radio award winners honoring the radio industry’s hottest emerging talent. Among the winners – KIZN-FM in Boise, co-sponsor of Western Idaho Fair’s Clint Black concert.
The station was notified by a special surprise call from country music artist Craig Morgan. KIZN, known to it’s listeners as “Kissin’ 92” was named “Medium Market Country Station of the Year” for it’s past history of a strong commitment to the local community; past ratings success; and it’s commitment to promoting the country music format in the Boise and Treasure Valley area.
KIZN FM is owned and operated by Citadel Broadcasting Corporation.
