From 1981 to 1986, .38 Special was a chart powerhouse with three consecutive platinum albums and one gold. Three #1 hits included "Caught Up In You," "If I'd Been The One," and 1989's "Second Chance." .38 Special has sold more than 15 million albums. Vocalist Don Barnes said of their concerts, "We take the crowd for a ride…By the end of the show, they're completely exhausted along with us."
